Three units are taught and assessed:Unit 1H: Tsarist and Communist Russia, 1855-1964Unit 2M: Wars and Welfare: Britain in Transition, 1906-1957Unit 3: Non Examined Assessment ? Historical Investigation
Understand how the course will be delivered.
Developing critical skills in historical source and interpretation analysis through independent research and classroom based activities. Working with both primary and secondary source material to formulate evidenced argument and reasoning in response to key questions and concepts. Studying aspects of History from both a British and World History perspective. Students will experience group work, independent research, teacher input along with educational trips and student led sessions.
